Music has an influence on me, even though most of the time I do not realize it. I had Sweeney Todd songs in my head for DAYS. So it's really not that surprising I had a picture turn out like this.
I love doing pictures that are not your typical "pretty". Sometimes when I flick through fashion magazines I think of ways how they could "ugly" it up a bit. I think: Mess up the hair, smudge the make up, do something weird with the hands...Just to have that edge that makes a person stop for one second and take a closer look at what the picture holds.
I love the pictures people sometimes find to be morbid, ugly, dark, scary etc. As an aspiring photographer, one of my goals is to open people's eyes to this beauty as well.
Very, very, very beautiful. Love the eye, and the shape of the mouth... And I think that should be ANY artists goal, to open up the common blind eyes to the Otherworld.
Lovely, good job.
